The faculty members are on their annual retreat as scheduled (July 21 – 23, 2010).
Our set schedule of classes and reporting will then be moved to resume on July 26, 2010. While on the retreat, students will have their vacant time to work on their assignments and final project paper. You are, therefore, encouraged to continue planning out of the following:
a] Job Design – Blood Letting Project (Mgt 428) - 1) identify the activities involve; 2) show the process flow of each activity; 3) Gantt Chart; 4) Associated operating costs; 5) Member/s responsible for each activity; etc.
b] Final Project Paper – Identify the subject company for your paper (Mgt 432 & Mgt 428) - For Mgt 428: 1) identify perceived problems with the company needing operational solutions – at least 5 problems and provide backgrounds of these problems.
For Mgt 432: 1) Identify what are some of the problems encountered by the company in terms of their material needs, inventory and supply chain – at least 5 material problem areas. Provide background of each.
I will collect this information by July 26 & 27, 2010.
